Can the Rear Glass be Opened on a 2011 Honda Pilot with a Loaded Swagman XTC4 Bike Rack
Question:
Considering Swagman S64665 4 bike wheel mount hitch rack for my 2011 Honda Pilot. I realize I wont be able to open the back hatch while loaded, but has anyone mentioned if you can still open the back glass? This would be helpful to know for loading, especially with dog in the back of a hot vehicle! Thanks

I went out to the warehouse and assembled a Swagman XTC4, # S64665, mounted it on a 2011 Honda Pilot, and loaded a bike on it. The bike was a smaller womens mountain bike. I was able to open the glass with about a half inch of room to spare. Putting a smaller bike in this position would make it more likely to open the back glass. I also made a short video for you demonstrating the space I had with the above set up.
