Air Bag Kit Recommendation for 2011 Ford F-250 Towing Fifth Wheel Trailer

Question:

I have a 2011 F250 super duty crew cab power stroke and I had a shop put in a fifth wheel hitch from you folks Fifth Wheel: C16521 and a custom install kit C16424-204. But I picked up my new fifth wheel camper and the truck ped 3 inch and when hooked the axle was only 1/2 inch from the down stopper so Im buying new rear shocks cause not sure but think the rear shocks are original to see if that helps but if not i want to know of a air suspension system I can get from you that will work but not expensive and that would be some what easy for me to do with my father in law. Fifth wheel weighs 10449 empty and 2455 for hitch weight.

Sounds like you need suspension enhancement to give the rear end of your truck a bit more support when you are towing the fifth wheel trailer. For that you'd want the Firestone air bag kit # F2597 which is a confirmed fit. Then since you have the diesel engine you'll also need the relocation bracket part # F5722 for the upper bracket of the air bag kit.
