Is the Glass Part Adjustable on Custom Towing Mirrors # KS80920 for a 2017 GMC Yukon
Question:
Considering KS80920 add-on mirrors for a GMC 2017 Yukon Denali. Read your information on line. One of your experts said that the extension mirrors are not adjustable. The video on the product says they are, and shows the guy moving the mirror up and down, and side to side to make fine adjustments. So which person is right? If that mirror is totally fixed and cant be moved, then its not really of much use. Every driver has preferences as to what they see behind them. Also noticed that these mirror dont add very much width to your mirrors. They show a dimension of 13.5inch from the inside edge of the factory mirror. I compared this to my clip on extensions with rubber straps which have a horizontal width of almost 17. In your experience, do these K-Source mirrors provide adequate improved side viewing? Im towing a 20foot enclosed trailer. Appreciate your opinion and info.

Expert Reply:
On the K-Source Snap & Zap Custom Towing Mirrors # KS80920 the glass part is adjustable but the housing that attaches to the stock mirror is fixed so maybe that is where the confusion comes from.
The mirrors will be comparable to the ones you have now in terms of how much you will be able to see behind you. The difference though will be that the K-Source mirrors will be more stable.
