I highly recommend using a weight distribution system with sway control on your 2012 Honda Odyssey to tow your 2018 R-Pod 178 such as the Fastway e2 # FA94-00-0800. However, in order to choose the best weight distribution system you will first need to know your total tongue weight (TTW), which is the tongue weight of your fully loaded and ready to go trailer plus the weight of any cargo behind the rear axle of your Odyssey.
The tongue weight is typically between 10% and 15% of your trailer's GVWR but you'll want to verify it by using a scale such as the etrailer # e99044 or by using one of the methods outlined in the help article on determining tongue weight I've linked for you. From there, simply add on the weight of the cargo behind the rear axle of your vehicle and you'll have your TTW. The ideal system would be one in which your TTW would fall somewhere in the middle of the weight distribution system's tongue weight capacity.
According to my research your 2018 R-Pod 178 has a GVWR of 3,768 lbs and that depending on the amount of cargo you have behind the rear axle of your Odyssey your total tongue weight could be in the 600 lbs range. If so, the Fastway e2 # FA94-00-0800, which is for total tongue weights between 400 lbs and 800 lbs, would be a great option. This system only requires a hitch ball, either # EQ91-00-6080 for a 2" ball or # 63840 for a 2-5/16" ball. It is also recommended you use thin-walled socket # EQ70-00-4800 for installation of the hitch ball. I've added a link to a video review of this system for you to take a look at as well.
