The adjustable ball mount you will need will depend on the height of the top of the hitch opening on your F-350 with 2-1/2 inch receiver hitch. We have an article that explains how to measure to select the correct ball mount, see link.
For instance, on my 2004 Dodge Ram 2500 the top of the receiver opening is 20 inches from the ground when parked on a level surface. I use an adjustable drop receiver at 5 inches of drop, top of receiver opening to top of ball mount, for towing a equipment trailer with a John Deere 2020 tractor on it, approx 8,900 pounds gross trailer weight loaded and ready to tow.
We happen to have a 2008 F-350 on the lot here today and the top of the receiver opening on this truck is 20-1/2 inches. The same amount of drop would most likely be correct for this truck towing an equipment trailer. If you are towing a camper trailer then you would most likely not need quite as much drop.
All of this information points to the Diversi-Tech Ball Mount # DTALBM6625, with 6 inch drop and 7 inch rise being correctly sized for your application, if you have standard height wheels and tires and OEM suspension on your F-350.
If you want to go with a bit more of a drop for other possible applications the Diversi-Tech Ball Mount # DTALBM6825, with 8 inch drop and 9 inch rise would be a good choice.
If you have a 2 inch receiver on your F-350 you would need to go with the Diversi-Tech Ball Mount, # DTALBM6600, or the Diversi-Tech Ball Mount, # DTALBM6800. We have a video demonstration of the Diversitech Ball Mounts you might find interesting also, see link.
