Fifth Wheel Rail Kit Recommendation for 2013 Ford F-250 with Firestone Ride Rite Kit
Question:
Good evening. I own a 2013 F250 Super Duty Crew Cab 4 door with a short bed 6.5 feet. I have installed the Firestone Ride Ride air bag helper spring system which works great. The system is Firestone model 2535. I am wanting to purchase a Reese fifth wheel, slider hitch with a 16k capacity and was wondering if there are any frame rails/brackets compatible with this system. My concern is the top mounting bolt for the air bag helper spring on the passenger side of the truck uses the hole directly above the axle, and the shaft of the bolt protrudes out of the frame and appears like it would interfere with a frame bracket that sits flush. I have read too many conflicting Q and As and figured I had better directly confirm for my application. I am interested in both a bed rails above and bed rails below the bed options. Thank you for your time.

For your 2013 Ford F-250 the recommended Firestone Ride Rite kit is the part # F2597 which is not the number you mentioned. This kit is compatible with in-bed fifth wheel rail kits as-is though so you wouldn't need to make any modifications.
For a rail kit to go with your Reese slider hitch we have the part # RP50026-58 which would fit and work well.
If you used a different Ride Rite kit than what Firestone recommends for your truck we don't have a way of knowing if it would be compatible with a fifth wheel rail kit or what type of modifications you'd have to do.
