Can Curt Adjustable Ball Mount D900 Fit 2012 Toyota 4Runner

Hello We have a 2012 Toyota 4Runner SR5 with the factory installed hitch receiver. We are looking to purchase a pop up camper that when fully loaded will be under 3500 lbs. As we are looking for a used trailer and may buy privately we are interested in the adjustable ball mount to account for all coupler sizes and possible rises/s. When I looked at this description it says Class IV and I think but am not sure that our 4Runner is a Class III receiver hitch. So I am wondering if it is okay to use this part or if we need to find one that is specifically for Class III? Thanks very much.

The Curt adjustable ball mount part # D900 will work well for you. It has Class IV capacities but fits a 2 inch hitch like what your 2012 Toyota 4Runner has so it would work well. You'd just have much more capacity than you'd need. Which isn't a bad thing at all.
