How to Power Blue Ox Patriot II Supplemental Braking System Vehicle That Battery Disconnects

I purchased a Patriot II Braking System. My Ford Focus requires the battery to be disconnected to tow the vehicle so the battery wont die. Is that compatible with the Patriot II? How will it be powered? I am confused and thePatriot did not come with instructions from the dealer who sold it to me.

For vehicles like yours where they recommend disconnecting the battery to flat tow what you'll need is the 12 volt outlet kit part # RM-9332 to power the Blue Ox Patriot part # BLU37TR.
What this does is run an outlet directly from the vehicle battery so that while your vehicle is disconnected from the battery the outlet still has power.
