Pro Series Round, A-Frame Jack # PS1401000303 Recommendation for a Trailer with Low Tongue Clearance
Question:
I have a single axle Husky utility trailer that was built 2/98. I need to replace the tongue jack. It is currently 2 1/4 diameter and it sits too low to the ground as it will bottom out if we hit some rough roads. The trailer tongue leveled is about 13 to the ground where the jack is mounted. The current jack extends about 8 downward when it is fully retracted so when I am on forest service roads it bottoms out easily. Towing capacity is less than 2,000 pounds but I have had close to a ton in it. do you have something that will work for me? It looks like most of the Bulldogs are 2 in diameter and I dont know if that would work. Thank you.

I think the best option for your trailer would be a Pro Series Round, A-Frame Jack # PS1401000303. This jack has a retracted height of 5-1/2 inches to give you additional clearance when you are traveling on uneven terrain.
This jack also has 2,000 lb capacity, but since you said you only get near that capacity and not over you should be fine.
