The MagnaFlow Cat-Back Exhaust System part # MF15278 while installed on a 2017 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 with 5.3L V8 engine would still pass state emissions testing. The critical components in regards to emissions is the catalytic converters and since this is a cat-back system meaning it installs behind the factory catalytic converters, there will not be any problems not meeting state regulations.
I have a similar system installed on my vehicle in a state that also requires emissions testing and have not had any problems thus far.
