Base Rails and Installation Kit for 2011 Ram 1500

Good morning, i just purchased a reese 16k pro series 5th wheel hitch but realized i need the rails..... i have a 2011 ram 1500 sport, short box, what rail assembly/brackets do you recomend please

To add base rails in the bed of your 2011 Ram 1500 to mount your Pro Series fifth wheel hitch you have two options, one of which is the Reese Semi-Custom Base Rail and Installation Kit # RP30035-386, which will require drilling into the frame of your truck to install.

The other option, and the one I recommend, is the Reese Custom Installation Kit with Base Rails # RP50142-58 because it will not require any drilling into your frame, is a shorter install and has a 10-year warranty compared to a 5-year warranty for the semi-custom kit. Also please keep in mind if you have a short bed truck you will need a sliding hitch.
