We have a kit that will both allow you to install a trailer brake controller and upgrade your factory 4-pole wiring to the 7-way format that includes 12V power and other functions.
Since you already have 4-pole wiring in place all you need is kit # ETBC7. This includes a 7-way socket, wiring and all connectors and parts needed to completely install a trailer brake controller such as the easy-to-use and reliable Prodigy P2 # 90885. An installation video for the P2 is linked for you to show you the whole process. You will also want to use bracket # 18136 for the 7-way.
Once you have completed the installation you will have a 7-way socket like the one pictured in the linked photo that includes each of the circuits as labeled, including a 12V power source that remains active.
