How to Determine Overall Size of Inflated Trailer Tire
Question:
Hi I have need for a spare tire to be mounted on my trailer but am bound by a maximum inflated width of 8 inches. Can you tell me if a 195/75 15 would be 8 inches or less? Thanks

A trailer tire of size ST195/75-15 when mounted and fully inflated will have a width of just under 7-3/4-inches. It will have an overall diameter of approximately 26-1/2-inches. The linked article will show how to determine these dimensions for any tire size.
I also linked our range of trailer frame-mount spare tire carriers like # CE27310G.
