Solution for Flat Towed Vehicle's Wheels that Don't Turn as the Tow Vehicle Turns

Question:

We bought our trailhawk to flat tow behind our class A RV. We had the mopar harness installed by the dealer with the switch and fuse for towing. We are using a blue ox tow bar. Because our RV is in a different state, we hooked jeep up to truck for a test run and everything worked fine. When we hooked it it up to motor home using the same procedure, the front wheels are not turning with the motor home even though steering wheel is unlocked. Any idea what is causing this?

Is the tow bar sitting level? Normally if there's a steering axle issue with the vehicle be flat towed the problem is due to the tow bar not sitting as level as it's needed to be. Most likely you will also need a high low adapter so that the tow bar will be level when you are flat towing. I attached a link to a page that has all of the ones we carry as well as a help article that details how to pick out the correct one like the Roadmaster # RM-076 which can give you either a 6 inch drop or 6 inch rise.
