The Gen-Y Torsion 2-Ball Mount w/ Stacked Receivers # 325-GH-1224 is built very strong but it will be a really nice benefit to towing your heavy snowmobile trailer. It will absorb the shock and allow you to have a smooth ride. It is rated much higher than you 6,000 lb max trailer, but it will do exactly what you are hoping in taking the brunt of rough roads and pot holes versus transferring it directly to your truck frame. This is a heavy adapter, but we have had very positive reviews from all about the quality of the Torsion products in their different sizes and how they work.
