No Audible Alert in RV after Depressed Brake Pedal on Roadmaster InvisiBrake
Question:
I just finished an install of the Invis Brake. All went well and it appears to be working as it should. I do have one problem. The audible alarm in the RV is not sounding after pressing on the RV brake for more than 20 seconds done as multiple attempts and times up to 40 seconds. I have installed the LED monitor light and it is functioning properly and it tells me the cars brakes are on. Along with the LED I installed the audio signal board per the Figure 20 diagram and corresponding instructions. The ground is good as evidenced by the functional LED light. Do you have some trouble shooting suggestions? I think that the audio signal board is not operating properly. I believe that I need a replacement. Thanks in advance.

I called my technical support contact at Roadmaster and they informed me that it is likely that you have just switched the wires that go to both the LED monitor and audio board on the Roadmaster InvisiBrake Supplemental Braking System part # RM-8700. I would first try to switch the wires to see if that fixes your problem. If that doesn't work then you will want to inch forward a bit and hold the brake pedal to see if the alarm sounds. If neither of these options work then you would need to contact Roadmaster for a replacement audio board.
