Replacement Double Step Electric RV Steps for Lippert 28 Series Single Step
Question:
Does this assembly come with the motor control box and switches including sensors. If not please advise me with the complete list of what I need. Attached is a serial number of the one I liked from kwikee. I currently have a model 28 kwikee which is a single step and want to convert it to a new Step but all my electrical components are bad.

With your current step being the Lippert Kwikee 28 Series Electric Step # LC3747451, the Lippert Components Kwikee 32 Series Double Tread Electric Step # LC372261 will be just slightly bigger and also have the extra step. It will come with all the new electrical components you mentioned, so you will get the motor, controller, and switch kit with the step.
The difference is in the mounting bolt pattern. Your old step had 22 inch by 6-1/2 inch mounting bolt pattern and the new step has 22 inch by 8 inch mounting bolt pattern. It is not uncommon to have the mounting bolt pattern differ as you change steps, so it will require drilling holes to mount.
