Reese Fifth Wheel Rail Kit Recommendation for 2018 Ford F-350

Question:

When I go to your vehicles and choose a 2018 Ford F-350 DRW 8foot bed without factory rails 4WD and choose above bed rails I get the install kit with the Reese hitches is RP50074-58. After talking with your customer service they tell me that will not fit a 2018. They tell me I need a RP50026-58 which is what I have in my 2015 F-250 SRW 4WD. I was planning to use the rails from my 2015 and order the new brackets RP50074 for my 2018, but now I dont know what to do as what they tell me and what the website says are different. Thanks,

I apologize for any confusion, but the correct fifth wheel rail kit for your 2018 Ford F-350 long bed, 4WD is the part # RP56017-53 which means that if you only wanted the brackets you'd want the part # RP56017 but you'd have to have the larger outboard style rails..

You'll need new hardware for the rails too as part # 58164 as well since fifth wheel rail hardware is considered one time use.
