Does Rear Bumper and Fascia Need to be Removed to Install EcoHitch on 2013 Subaru XV Crosstrek
Question:
With this hitch can i install this without taking the rear bumper and if so how easy is it to put the pin or screw to secure the rack firmly?

The EcoHitch Invisi Trailer Hitch Receiver # 306-X7203 referenced in your question is confirmed to fit your 2013 Subaru XV Crosstrek as long as it features a center knock-out panel in the lower rear fascia. To install this particular Class III hitch, you will need to temporarily remove the bumper/fascia on your XV Crosstrek. This is because of the unique design on the EcoHitch that provides a completely hidden appearance behind the rear bumper once installed. This offers a really sleek look when the hitch isn't in use, along with added ground clearance, but the recessed nature will make it a bit more difficult to install and tighten the hitch pin for your bike or cargo rack.
If you would rather not remove the bumper/fascia during installation, and are okay with a hitch that is slightly more visible, I instead recommend the Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver # 76084. This Class III hitch is also custom-fit for your XV Crosstrek, which means it will use existing holes in the vehicle's frame for a no-drill installation. Since it will sit under the rear bumper instead of behind it, the receiver will be a bit more accessible for installing your bike rack and hitch pin.
I have attached an installation video on your vehicle that you can use for reference, along with the written installation instructions.
