Yakima Holdup 2 Bike Rack # Y02443 Recommendation for Carrying Step Through Framed Bikes
Question:
What is the minimum height of the hook? In other words what is the delta vertical distance between the bottom of the wheel well and the crook of the hook at its lowest position? Will it hold my wifes Raleigh Comfort bike? Thanks,

I spoke with my contact at Yakima, and although he could not say for certain what the minimum vertical height of the hook would be he did advise me that most step through bikes will not work with the platform style bike racks that hold the bikes at the frame like the Swagman XTC-2, # S64670.
He recommended you use a Yakima Holdup 2 Bike Hitch Mounted Folding Rack # Y02443 as it attaches to the wheels and would most likely work on your wifes Raleigh Comfort bike.
