How to Tow a 5th Wheel Trailer with a 2015 Ford F-250 That Has a B&W Gooseneck Hitch Installed

Question:

Would I have enough cab to trailer clearance with a 2015 Ford F250 Crew Cab with a 6 1/2 foot box. Also when mounting this hitch to my B and W ball what stops the base of the hitch from turning on the ball?

The Demco Recon Gooseneck-to-5th Wheel Trailer Hitch Adapter part # DM8550045 would not provide enough turning clearance for a 5th wheel trailer with a standard pin box on your 2015 Ford F-250 with the 6-3/4' bed. You would need to use a sliding hitch to allow for the proper turning clearance.

Since you stated that you have the B&W Turnoverball Underbed Gooseneck Trailer Hitch part # BWGNRK1111, the best option for you to tow a 5th wheel trailer with a standard pin box and still retain this hitch would be to use the B&W Companion Slider Gooseneck-to-5th-Wheel Trailer Hitch Adapter part # BWRVK3400. This hitch will fit into the gooseneck opening on your existing B&W hitch and will provide you with turning clearance while the slider is activated. It has a 20,000 lb towing capacity and is made right here in the U.S.A.

I have attached a review video of the hitch for you as well.
