Recommended Bike Rack for Fat Tire Bike and Step-Thru Frame With Fenders
Question:
Have you got a rack that will hold a fat bike with 4inch tires and a step-thru bike? Both have fenders and weigh 60-65 lbs. each. I dont want them clamping down on the fenders. I know it will work on the crossbar of the fat bike but the step-thru has no crossbar.

For your fat bike and step-thru frame, I recommend the Saris Freedom 2 Bike Platform Rack for Fat Bikes # SA4412B-FB. This works for tires up to 5 inches wide and will hold your bikes by the frame. This will mitigate any issue from the step-thru frame and the fenders. It will hold bikes that are 60 lbs each. I recommend the Hitch Tite Anti-Rattle Hitch Lock # SA3022 and cable lock # SA981.
The only other option for more weight is the Hollywood Racks Sport Rider SE2 Bike Rack for Electric Fat Tire Bicycles # HR1455E. This carrier will require standard wheel holders for your step through bike # HRSPRWH-HD and an adapter bar like # HRBA-PRO if there is absolutely no cross bar on the bike frame. If it is a low crossbar, the hooks normally still work fine without an adapter.
