Fifth Wheel Rail Kit Recommendation for 2018 Ford F-350 without Factory Rail Kit
Question:
What is the proper placement of a BandW BWRVK3500-5W Fifth wheel hitch forward of the axle on a 2018 F350 2x4 SRW Long Bed 8 ft . No factory puc system ? Drill hole for installation 1, 2 or 3 or more inches forward of axle? Thank you

Since you have a long bed I'd recommend using the head setting of the B and W Hitch BWRVK3500 that is in the center right above the rear axle.
Then you'd want to install the rail kit part # BWGNRK1116-5W using the attached install instructions and video as a guide. I realize this video is on a year older F-350 with DRW however your installation will be the exact same.
