Fit of Thule OutWay Trunk Mounted Bike Rack # TH9001XT for 2003 Toyota Camry with OEM Spoiler

I have a 2003 Camry with a factory mounted fin or spoiler. The salesman at the store feels the Thule rack will accommodate the fin. Any reports from others who may have bought and used this rack with such a vehicle?

According to my contacts at Thule, the Thule OutWay 2 Bike Rack, part # TH45JV is considered a fit on your 2003 Toyota Camry, as long as the spoiler on your vehicle was factory, not aftermarket installed.

If you were planning on carrying a women's bike, or a bike with a sharply angled top tube, you might need a frame adapter, like part # 64005. The frame adapter attaches to the seat post and the handlebar gooseneck, and provides a level attachment point for the bike rack so the bike is not carried at an extreme angle.
