Using Derale Electric Fan Part # D16908 for Remotely Mounted Transmission Cooler
Question:
Im looking at installing a remote mount in conjunction with the stock cooler cooler on my 99 Cherokee. Its equipped with A/C, 4,0 engine 4WD and an overdrive trans. I intend to remove the factory air box located on the drivers side inner fender next to the radiator and fashion a cold air intake to provide the necessary space. My question is if I fit a D13503 cooler as described will the D16908 fan provide adequate air flow?

At 450 CFM (cubic feet per minute) the Straight Blade Electric Fan you mentioned, part # D16908, would provide plenty of airflow for the D13503 Transmission cooler.
This has been confirmed with Derale, the manufacturer.
If you need a thermostat control for the fan, use part # D16769.
