Installing Tekonsha Prodigy P2 Brake Controller on 2012 GMC Sierra
Question:
do you have an install video for the Tekonsha # 90885 for a 2012 GMC 1500? I was told this controller will not plug N Play into my truck, is that true?

To install the Tekonsha Prodigy P2 Trailer Brake Controller # 90885 on your 2012 GMC Sierra, you will just need to add the Pigtail Harness # 20127. If your Sierra is equipped with a fully-functional 7-Way connector, there is not a plug-in-play style port present under the dash, but all the needed wires are already run. What this means is that the installation will not quite be a plug-and-play process, but all you will need to do is connect the brake controller wiring to the vehicle wiring that is already present under the dash.
I have attached an install video for you.
