Exhaust for 2002 Chevy Silverado for Increased Volume as well as Horsepower and Torque
Question:
I was wondering how i could make my 02 Chevy Silverado louder, would i need a new muffler or a new exhaust? Or both?

For your 2002 Chevy Silverado to be louder, you will want to determine your goal. If you are simply wanting more volume then you could cut your exhaust off wherever it is legal to do so based on your state regulations. If you change your muffler, you will get a different resonance, so a different volume would come with that.
If you are looking for performance, then you will want a larger exhaust pipe to your engine can breathe better on the back-end which will increase your horsepower and torque slightly as well as changing the volume making it louder.
