Trailer Brake Controller Installation in 2015 Ford F-150
Question:
I have a 2015 f150 with factory controller and it has a 4 way plug. Where would the wires be located to wire the controller to a 7way for the brake controller?

Since your 2015 F-150 pickup has a factory-installed trailer brake controller it should already have a 7-way trailer connector.
If the 4-way plug you refer to is the one that connects a trailer brake controller, such as an excellent aftermarket unit like the Tekonsha Prodigy P3 # 90195, that 4-wire adapter part is # 22292. This allows installation of the P3 to the under-dash connection port.
If the truck actually has only 4-pole trailer wiring that looks like the connector in the linked photo then it needs to be converted to a 7-way in order to install and connect a trailer brake controller.
Trailer 4-pole wiring like this transmits only lighting signals.
You can use kit # ETBC7 to convert the 4-pole wiring to the 7-way format and allow use of a trailer brake controller.
Several articles and a video are linked for reference.
