Why Does Running Light Circuit Get Ran to CE Smith Post-Style Guide-Ons # CE27740

Is there any reason you could not wire the post lights into the turn signal/ brake lights?

If you wired the CE Smith Post-Style Guide-Ons # CE27740 that you referenced to the stop/turn signal of your trailer wiring they would blink with the blinkers and come on with the brake lights. There's no reason you couldn't do that but as their intended purpose they wouldn't be as effective. Normally these are wired to the running light circuit so that when your tow vehicle has their head lights on (at night) the lights come on to help you guide your boat onto the trailer.
