Does Lube Plate Head Plate of Reese Titan Hitch Have to Come Off When Using Sidewinder Pin Box

I understand the reese 30867 will work with the sidewinder, do I have to remove the custom lub plate when used with the sidewinder?

When using a fifth wheel hitch like the part # RP30081 you do not need to remove the lube plate of the hitch that is built into it. You'd want to use the correct wedge part # RP30865 which makes connecting the hitch to the Sidewinder easier.
