Troubleshooting Trailer Turn Signal Fuse that Blows When Replaced
Question:
Read reply from Adam r to Kenny very helpful in that I found my number 16 40 amp fuse blown in the power distribution box but when I replaced it it blew again... Ugh.. Why would that fuse keep blowing 1997 f150 trailer turn signals

Did it blow immediately after replacing it or did it blow after connecting a trailer?
Either way the problem is a short to ground that is causing the fuse to blow and you'll have to find it and fix as needed. If the fuse blows without a trailer the problem is on the vehicle side of the wiring, if it blows after connecting the trailer then you'll need to find the short on the trailer's wiring and fix as needed.
Common causes for shorts are cut or exposed wiring touching bare metal or excessive corrosion on the pins of a connector.
