Recommendation For Improving Control And Stability For Thor ACE 30.2 On 2015 Ford F-53 Chassis
Question:
Looking to reduce body roll and wind/18 wheeler push on my 2015 THOR ACE 30.2. What combination of sway bar, etc would be best and what do these provide that the stock doesn't? My coach has the factory front sway bar and rear track on it but obviously they do not provide the necessary control when driving. Thank you.

We have several options to enhance the performance of your Thor Ace 30.2 RV built on the 2015 Ford F-53. These options are more robust in their design and have features that intentionally provide greater stability and control than OEM parts. Because there are different configurations for your Thor Ace, you need to select options that work with your particular package (see owner's manual or contact manufacturer).
For your 2015 Ford F-53 chassis, I recommend starting with a Roadmaster Rear Anti-Sway Bar Kit, Item # RM-1139-146. This replaces your stock sway-bar with a stronger 4140 chromoly steel unit. This anti-sway system mounts easily without drilling and all the hardware needed for installation is included. It works for 16,000-lb and 18,000-lb Gross Vehicle Weight Rating chassis.
If you need even more stability, I recommend adding the Roadmaster Front Anti-Sway Bar Kit, Item # RM-1139-148. This bar is also made of the strong 4140 chromoly steel and mounts without drilling and all the installation hardware is included.
Finally, I recommend adding a Roadmaster Reflex Steering Stabilizer, Item # RM-RBK22-RSSA. This stabilizer keeps your vehicle in line by constantly working to maintain its position. It compensates for oversteering and keeps your steering firm and controlled. It mounts without drilling and all the installation hardware included.
You can install these one at time or add them all at once. Each item will dramatically improve your overall control and stability and if you add all three then you will feel like you are driving a totally different vehicle.
