According to the owner's manual for your 2016 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited, tire chains are only recommended to be used on the rear wheels and with 225/75-16 tires or 235/65-17 tires. They must also be Class S compliant. You would probably still be okay with using Class S tire chains on a 255/75-17 tire but I cannot recommend you do so as the owner's manual states not to.
Should you choose to use tire chains anyway, the Titan Chain Alloy Snow Tire Chains part # TC2326 are a confirmed fit for your 255/75-17 tires and only require 3.7 mm of clearance to work. These are actually one of my favorite types of chains due to their ease of use and cost effective price. I have attached a sample install video of them for you as well.
For a cable style device, the Titan Chain Diagonal Alloy Cable Snow Tire Chains part # TC751DC would be what I would use on a 255/75-17 tire. These cables also come with the rubber adjusters to ensure a proper fit. They will not provide as much traction as the above chains but will offer a smoother ride.
You will want to check your owner's manual for other tire chain related specifications that you will need to abide by before use.
