Determining Correct Sidewinder Pin Box to Replace OEM Model

Question:

i bought a 61420 sidewinder pin box which is what the dealer instructed me to buy for my fifth wheel and truck 2017 Ram 2500 with ram boxes the problem is that the pin box on my fifth wheel is 14 inches and the sidewinder pin box is 12 inches. all the spacer kits only go to 12 1/2. Can you help

Sidewinder replacement pin boxes are made to fit in place of specific OEM units. The correct replacement pin box will be a direct bolt-on fit.

If you contact the trailer maker with its VIN they will be able to tell you the OEM pin box number they installed at the factory. With that you can use the linked article to verify that the recommended 16K unit # RP34FR is the correct fit. This particular Sidewinder is meant to replace only the following OEM models:

Fabex 663 and 665
Lippert 0719, 1621 and 1621HD
M&M 663 and 665

We know from our customers who have tried this setup that the Sidewinder will give the Rambox trucks the ability to tow a trailer but this has not been officially approved by Reese.
