Cargo Carrier with Bike Carrying Adapter for 2010 Mitsubishi Endeavor

Question:

Will this attach to a Mitsubishi Endeavor 2010, 2 hitch? Also, any thoughts on hauling 2-3 bikes with it? Accessory attachments or perhaps another model altogether for this combination. This would save me from buying a hitch mount bike rack.

If you were to go with the cargo carrier, part # CC-100, an adapter is available that would allow you to carry two bikes. The adapter is part # CC-125 and has only been tested with the # CC-100 cargo carrier, although it would likely work with other carriers with the wire mesh floor. It would attach to the cargo carrier as outlined in the instructions which I will link you to. All necessary assembly hardware and straps for fastening the bikes is included.

This option would limit you to carrying two bikes.

I would also strongly recommend a light kit like the etrailer License Plate and LED Tail Light Mounting Kit for Hitch Mounted Cargo Carrier Item # e98943-44LED as having bicycles on the carrier could obscure your taillights.

A 4-pole flat trailer connector is required to power the lamp kit. If your Endeavor does not have a trailer connector, you would also need part # C56039.

The Cargo Carrier I recommended will work just fine with your Endeavor with the 2 inch receiver hitch.

I have a feeling that using a bike rack might be easier than installing and removing the adapter each time you need the cargo carrier for carrying other items than bikes.
