I spoke with my contact at Timbren and they said they have sold many of the Timbren Rear Suspension, part # TDDR00 for the 1997 to 2004 Dodge Dakota, but could not verify that the springs will fit on your 2000 Dodge Dakota R/T with a lowered suspension. They list them as fitting the Dakota Regular Cab, Club Cab, and Quad Cab.

If you want to measure on your vehicle where the Timbren springs will go, it should be able to tell you if they will fit or not. The height on the rubber springs in this kit is 3-3/4 inches. When the Timbren springs are installed on your vehicle they will replace the bump stops above the rear axle. It is recommended to have a 1 inch gap between the rubber spring and the axle. If you measure on your vehicle, above the rear axle, where the bump stops are located and see if the height of the rubber springs ( 3-3/4 inches) will allow you an additional 1 inch clearance above the rear axle. If it does, the kit should work on your Dodge Dakota R/T. If there is not an extra inch of clearance then this kit would not work.

I am including a link to the installation instructions on the Timbren suspension.
