Hollywood Racks Sport Rider HR1000Z-R Rear Hatch Clearance on 2015 Jeep Cherokee

HR1000R clearance when installed on a 2015 Jeep Cherokee, with bikes loaded and tilted, will the hatch on the jeep clear the rack/bikes?

The Hollywood Racks Sport Rider 2-Bike Carrier for Recumbents # HR1000Z-R has a shank rise of 5 inches and a distance from the center of the hitch pin to the closest edge of the wheel hoop at 8-1/2 inches. The rack will tilt at about a 50 to 55 degree angle.

Since we haven't tested it on a 2015 Jeep Cherokee, I can't confirm that you will be able to have the hatch clear with bikes loaded, but I would be surprised if it wouldn't allow for complete hatch clearance and cargo access. I have a attached a video of the similar 4 bike Sportrider SE # HR1400Z on a 2017 Jeep Cherokee for reference of hatch clearance.
