Will the Adarac Pro Series Custom Truck Bed Ladder Rack Fit with a Foldup Tonneau Cover

Question:

Had a false start with a prior rack because folding hard cover would not clear rear uprights. Can you identify the following installed clearances? Distance available between base rails available to allow cover seal to close? Opening dimensions of uprights available to allow cover to fold? Application 2017 F150 with 5 1/2 bed. Prior effort failed because rear upright opening narrowed as height from bed increased. I have been told the truck cover is the Ford version of the Backflip G2. Since stake pocket positions relative to cover edge varies by vehicle the amount of rack mount overlap beyond pocket inside edge may be important. ie does the mount cover the inside pocket edge plus 3/4 inch.

The side rails on the Adarac Pro Series Custom Truck Bed Ladder Rack # A4000964 measure 15/16 of an inch from the center of the slotted mounting hole to the inside edge of the rail. If you measure from the center of your stake pocket holes in towards the bed and have more than 1-11/16 inches before you get to the edge of the seal (15/16 plus 3/4) then the rack rails will not interfere with the seal on your Tonneau cover.

The uprights on this rack go straight up and do not hang over the bed so folding up the cover should not be an issue.
