Comparing Reese Strait-Line and Equal-I-zer Weight Distribution Systems

For a weight distribution/sway control hitch for a trailer with 1200-lbs of tongue weight I like the Equal-I-zer system # EQ37140ET over the Strait Line. Our hundreds of customers who own it have rated this setup with an almost perfect score.
I like the Equal-I-zer setup because it includes all the parts, nothing more to buy, and also because its installation is simpler and easier. The frame lift brackets are smaller and easier to place on the trailer frame than those in the Reese system and there are no chains to deal with. The brackets install without drilling.
All you might want to add is a thin-wall socket like # ALL643216 for ball installation.
