Troubleshooting Trailer Wiring Running Light Circuit that Does Not Work with Vehicle
Question:
If trailer work fine when connected straight to battery is wiring good . plug into truck running light comes on goes off. 2015 dodge 1500

If you ran a jumper wire to your trailer's running lights and they came on but not with the vehicle's wiring you most likely have a vehicle wiring issue.
Test the running light circuit with a circuit tester like part # 3808 like what you see in the attached video and we'll know more. Most likely it's a blown trailer wiring fuse under the hood of your truck.
