I have some ways to help guide you in determining what wires are for which functions but unfortunately there is no standard when it comes to wire colors on vehicles like your 2008 Ford F-250.
If you check out the attached photo you can see what the typically functions are on a vehicle that has a 7-Way. The problem with this method is that if someone decided to change things up for their application then this diagram means nothing.
The best way to know what each pin (or wire) for your 7-Way does is to use a circuit tester like part # PTW2993 to test the wires or pins. Have a buddy run through the various functions while you use the tester. This is the most accurate way to know the layout of your wiring.
