Outrigger Recommendation for Installing Double Step on Coachman Clipper 17BHS
Question:
I am looking to replace the single step on my RV trailer with a two step unit. I need a step that is 26-3/16inch wide to fit into the existing mounting bracket on my trailer. It seems the steps online are either too narrow 25 1/4 or too wide 27inch plus. Is there a two step unit that will match my existing mounting bracket. My trailer is a Coachman Clipper 17BHS. Thanks.

Your dimension of 26-3/16 inch is not a standard dimension that we'll have a direct fit for but you can use the outriggers # LC301704 once you remove the old brackets to install new steps at dimensions that match what you need.
With those you could install a double step like the part # LC432682 and you'll be set. These are the standard 25-1/2 inch in width.
