I have a 2004 AWD Lexus RX330. What snow chains doe you recommend? Do they go on the front? Rear? or both? Thanks

According to your owners manual, your 2004 Lexus RX330 AWD should have tire chains only installed on the front tires. For your 225/65R17 tires, Lexus also specifies that the tire chains should have a 10mm or less internal clearance. There are only a few chains that will fit those requirements.

I recommend the Konig Self-Tensioning, Low-Pro Snow Tire Chains # TH04115245 which will provide great traction and be right at the 10mm internal clearance. These chains are easy to install and utilize a lever you step on to install and they self-adjust tension as your drive.

The only other option that fits these requirements is the Konig Premium Self-Tensioning Snow Tire Chains # TH02230K66 which have zero internal clearance. These chains are made to only ride on the tread portion of the tire. They are little more difficult to install utilizing a lug nut adapter, but they also self-tension. I've attached a video to assist.
