Brake Controller Recommendation for 2014 GMC Acadia
Question:
I am making my first upgrade on a trailer and not sure which brake controller is the best fit for me. I am towing a new hybrid 4500lbs behind a 2014 Acadia Denali with factory tow package. - is the P3 over kill for what I am doing? - does the P3 have to be mounted level as I have read? I am tight on space... - this will be the first time I have ever used and set up a controller so ease of use and set up is important.

For tight install areas and for best performance the Redarc Tow-Pro Elite part # RED44FR with the install harness part # TM75269 will be your all around best option.
I attached a picture that shows you how much dash space it takes up.
The install harness part # TM75269 wires directly to the brake controller wiring under the dash of your 2014 GMC Acadia.
The P2 part # 90885 and P3 part # 90195 are great options but they have to be installed level.
