Will the Prodigy RF Brake Controller Work on a 2011 Sprinter 3500 RV
Question:
Can you please advise if this controller will work on my 2011 Sprinter 3500 RV? I see others are using it successfully on MB SUVs and other european vehicles. Thanks

The Prodigy RF # TK94FR is not vehicle specific. As long as your 2011 Mercedes Sprinter 3500 has a functioning 7-Way connector it will work.
If you should have problems pairing the unit I have included some helpful tips below:
First, If you do not see displayed what the instructions say just keep going through the steps. Sometimes, it will not display what it is supposed to but it will still work if you go through the steps to completion.
If that does not work then you can try taping off the pin in the 5 o'clock position at the back of the RF (where the trailer plugs into) using electrical tape. Then go through the installation process.
If that doesn't work you may need a 7-Way to 7-Way adapter, # C57003, which will put more load on the system and could allow the RF to pair up properly.
Vehicles with push-button start that require stepping on the brake pedal to start the vehicle can interrupt the paring of the RF (which instructs users to start the vehicle). In this situation you would just need to press the start button WITHOUT pressing the brake pedal. This powers the unit and allows pairing.
And if all of the above will not work then have a domestic vehicle with a functioning 7-Way parked right next to your vehicle and pair the RF using that vehicle. Then just move the handheld unit to the vehicle and tow the trailer with it and it will work.
