Can I Purchase The 2 Inch Adapter Sleeve For Thule Hitching Post Pro # TH934XTR Separately
Question:
Im about to buy a used TH954 but they dont have the sleeve adapter that converts shank from 1-1/4 to 2. Is this something I can buy, or do I have to pay for a Hitch Reducer?

We have the sleeve adapter that you will need for your Thule Hitching Post Pro 4 Bike Carrier # TH934XTR. You will need the Thule Replacement 2 Inch Shank Adapter, part # 853-7489, which will allow you to mount the bike rack in a 2 inch receiver.
If you are also missing the hitch pin, I would recommend a locking hitch pin like the Thule Snug Tite Hitch Lock, part # THSTL2. This lock is also an anti-rattle device that will reduce movement and noise when your bike rack is attached to your hitch.
Also, before purchasing the hitch bike rack, you will want to measure to make sure there is clearance to mount the bike rack to your vehicle if you already have not done so. You will want to measure from the center of the hitch pin hole to the farthest edge of the bumper, or rear mounted spare tire (if applicable). If this measurement is less than 10-1/2 inches, you will have enough clearance to mount the Thule Ridgeline to your vehicle.
I have linked a video review of the Thule Roadway 4 Bike Carrier # TH914XT and a video review of the Thule Snug Tite Hitch Lock, part # THSTL2.
