Are K-Summit Tire Chains Good on Plowed/Dry Roads with Occasional Ice and Snow Patches

Question:

How well do they perform on plowed roads, or dry roads with occasional ice patches? It appears they prevent contact of the rubber with the road, meaning no traction at all on dry roads.

I would not recommend K-Summit chains such as # TH02230K23 for dry-ish roads because like you said there wouldn't be much traction. For those situations you would not use chains as they would not benefit you for traction.
