Since you have an a-frame, you're all ready to add a sway control system to your trailer.

If you're wanting to just add a simple system to help control sway, I recommend the Reese Friction kit, part # 83660. You'll need an adapter bracket for your ball mount, part # RP26003 to finish the installation and get a good mount for your vehicle.

I've included a video of this process so you can get familiar with how it works.

If you have a larger trailer, let me know, as a weight distribution plus sway control system may be a better fit for your vehicle, and give a better ride overall.
