Can Both Connections of Adapter # 37385 be Used for Tow Dolly Lights and Magnetic Lights?

Question:

We are looking to use the adaptor for our lights on the tow dolly and also connect the magnetic turn lights that will be installed on the back of the vehicle being towed on the dolly. Can we plug both into this adaptor at the same time. Also, they are both 4 pin so can we use the 5 pin to plug in a 4 pin. If not is there any adaptor that has the 7 pin round to a double 4 pin.

Yes, you can use Adapter # 37385 for both of your 4-way connections; there will simply be an unused pin in the adapter. However, you will need to be sure that the amperage draw from both lights does not exceed the rating of the tow package wiring on your RV. Your other option would be to simply cut off the 4-way on the magnetic kit and splice it into your tow dolly's wiring.
