Recommended Tire Cables for RVs with Limited Wheel Well Clearance

I have a Mountain Aire with 305 70 R 22.5 duals. There isnt a lot of room in the wheel well - cable chains work?

In order to determine which tire chains are compatible with your RV you would need to look in the owner's manual. If space is indeed limited then you would want to use a set of chains/cables that are class S compatible as this will allow for the greatest amount of wheel wheel clearance. For your 305/70-22.5 tires, I recommend using the Glacier Cable Snow Tire Chain part # PW2045C for the front and part # PW2045C for the rear.

These cables have a low profile which in addition to added wheel well clearance will also provide a smoother ride. The cables will be prefect for light snow. In order to keep the cables tensioned properly to the tires you will want to use Glacier Multi-Arm Rubber Adjusters part # PW103.
